In the 23rd episode of the fourth season of the Fox show in an episode titled “Deep Throats” the family patriarch, Peter Griffin plays the Billy role, in an almost identical parody of the original video. At the end of the video the line is sang loud and drawn out, as a punctuation to the spot. Through the bulk of the commercial the line “Ding fries are done” can be faintly heard being repeated. The commercial is not up in any form on Burger Kings official YouTube page. There are several variations of this playing on television, but the above was the one I was able to find online. The December 2020 Burger King Commercial: For many years the burger giant ignored the parody, but in their latest commercial, for better or worse, they have given it a nod. Unless you’re a child who doesn’t know any better, this doesn’t really hold up to any modern sensibilities, right? Well, not according to Burger King. Pretty safe to say you are up to speed now. “Carol of the Bells” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra: Here’s a pretty freakin’ epic version by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. If you don’t know the original song which the parody is based on, you certainly will after you give a quick listen. Eleven year old me in 1993 found the “Ding Fries Are Done” song hilarious, but then again I was a dickhead 11-year-old boy in the ’90s. We at Unruly Stowaway do not condone that. does anyone know where this hilarious aniamtion is that has a guy in burger king outfit singing some xmas song but instead. The album seems to solely exist to tastelessly make fun of people with down syndrome. I do want to add a short disclaimer here before moving on. ![]() Lund included the song on a 2008 album of offbeat Christmas tunes. ![]() If you end up digging a bit more yourself and see the song attributed to Robert Lund, that is false. There is actually a full album of Christmas songs featuring this Billy character, entitled “A Very Spastic Christmas.” You can find the album hosted here at. The song is from the point of view of a seemingly mentally disabled man named Billy, who works at the fast-food chain, Burger King. Way back in 1993, in the infant stages of the internet, a “Carol of the Bells” parody song entitled “Ding Fries Are Done” began appearing on message boards and in email chains. After years of ignoring the holiday parody song “Ding Fries Are Done,” rightfully or wrongfully, Burger King finally shows it some love.
